Dr. Ashwin Malhotra

Board Certified Neurologist

Dr. Ashwin Malhotra is a lifelong New Yorker and board-certified neurologist. He completed his medical training at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center in Neurology and Neurophysiology.

A powerlifter and athlete, Dr. Malhotra, has personally suffered from back pain, knee pain, and carpal tunnel syndrome, and maintains a unique appreciation for proper chronic pain management and physical therapy. He believes in Preventative Neurology targeted at improving brain-health, longevity, and reaching optimum cognitive capacity. He supports utilizing integrative/alternative medicines and having a holistic approach to treating neurologic disease.

Dr, Malhotra is an active member of multiple medical societies (American Academy of Neurology, Peripheral Nerve Society, Brain Injury Association of New York State, American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine, American Clinical Neurophysiology Society) as well as being a faculty member at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center and Capital Health Medical Center.

He is the founder of the Brain Health Center and the Neuro Injury Care Institute.
