We are thrilled to announce a new specialty coming to our offices soon. Internal Medicine. Our internal medicine department will focus on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of adult diseases. By providing this needed service to our surrounding community, we are extremely excited that we can now care for patients ages 12 and above with multiple, complex issues.

What is an internist?

Internists provide services related to common problems of the eyes, ears, skin, nervous system, and reproductive organs.  They can also help manage severe and chronic illnesses of patients. Internists may also specialize in other areas including substance abuse treatment, women’s health, and mental health.

Internists are often called upon to find answers to some of the most difficult medical problems.  They are sometimes called the “doctor’s doctor.” and are very often asked to help solve perplexing medical puzzles. Many adults use internists as their primary care physicians mostly because they are familiar with a wide range of medical conditions.  Our doctors are dedicated to wellness and preventive medicine.
